Park's Internship in Teaching Program

An internship at Park is a full-time, year-long position which consists of two placements with two different cooperating teachers, one in the fall and a different one in the spring. Depending on the intern's professional goals and the School's needs, interns have the option of being placed with:

  • a grade level-teacher in a self-contained classroom in Grades N-V
  • an academic subject teacher who works with Grades VI-IX in English, social studies, science, math, Latin, Spanish or French
  • a specialist teacher who works with Grades N-IX in art, music, drama, technology, or physical education

In order to engage fully in the Park community, interns are strongly encouraged to become involved with the extracurricular life of the school through coaching sports, helping with drama productions, teaching in the After-School Program, and participating in the admission process.

The Park School is an equal opportunity employer.
