The Park School Parents' Association

A unique characteristic of Park is the high level of parent involvement at school. The Park School Parents’ Association provides a structure for parents to volunteer in a myriad of ways.

All parents of Park School students are members of the Parents’ Association (P.A.). A board of officers and advisors administers the work of the P.A. The P.A. holds regular meetings and all parents are welcome to attend and to participate in discussions and decision-making.

  • January 23 at 7:30 p.m.
  • February 27 at 8:15 a.m.
  • April 23 at 8:15 a.m.
  • May 21 at 7:30 p.m.
  • June 11 at 8:15 a.m.

There are 23 Parents’ Association volunteer committees that participate actively in the life of the School. The P.A. runs five major fundraisers that support these committees, the School, and a range of educational and community-building events.

Every year, we try to make the P.A. even better for its members. For example, we have been offering multiple sessions of events (morning and evening) so more parents will be able to attend. We are also increasing the educational content of P.A. meetings, using Facing History and Ourselves as a model.

The P.A. seeks volunteers on a one-time or on-going basis. If you are looking for ways to become involved in the Park School Parents’ Association, please refer to the volunteer opportunities section.
