Dr. Jerrold I. Katz, a dedicated educator with more than 25 years of experience, is Park's tenth head of school. Prior to assuming the helm at Park in 1993, Jerry served as principal of the Bowen School, a public elementary school in Newton, MA for ten years.
Jerry is active in several independent school associations; currently, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), and previously he served on the Board of the National Association of Schools for Girls. He is well known for mentoring others in the area of school leadership. Jerry completed his Ed.D at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and earned an M.Ed. from Boston University and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. Jerry and his wife, Marti, have two grown sons.
