Welcome to PARK+
While the Park School community is away from our beautiful campus, faculty, students and families are engaged in distance learning for students in PreK-Grade 8 until further notice. Through PARK+, our online journey will continue providing an exceptional student-centered education.
Central to the Park experience are the essential relationships that exist between and among teachers, students, and families. Park’s faculty are producing and providing meaningful learning experiences to students as well as continuing to keep up personal connections with their classes. On this page, we share the nuts & bolts of distance learning, a wealth of important resources, ways to connect back, and galleries to see how Park is learning, leading, playing, and caring as long as distance learning continues.

The Grade 8 Orchestral Ensemble Presents: Eleanor Rigby
Thank you to music teacher, Erik James and the Grade 8 Orchestral Ensemble for sharing this performance of "Eleanor Rigby" which premiered at Morning Meeting earlier this week. Each student recorded the piece individually and then Mr. James "stitched" it all together using software that was new to him. We applaud the Ensemble and Mr. James for their hard work and thank them for sharing this timely (although chosen in January!) piece.
Kudos to Grade 8 Scientist Naomi Yu!
Earlier this week, Naomi's science teacher, Mrs. Manning, informed us that Naomi had submitted a research proposal to the Marjot Foundation, which supports environmental education at the high school level. While Naomi's proposal to explore whether it was possible to modify the environment of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) so that more oxygen was produced during photosynthesis and thereby creating a more oxygen-rich world, wasn't chosen we couldn't be more proud of Naomi who came up with the proposal, did a great deal of research and compiled a budget all within 3 days! We applaud Naomi's initiative and interest in making our world a better place for all!
"Veehearsals" for A Mid Quarantine Midsummer Night's Dream are underway!
