ASP Grades 3-8

ASP students in Grades 3-8 spend their afternoons in the West Building classrooms, the Makerspace, and the gyms. They also enjoy time outdoors. These spaces create opportunities for shared learning, movement, and creativity. Each day, students have the opportunity to have snacks, go outside, work on homework, and play. During homework time, ASP teachers supervise the students, helping with clarifying directions, talking through a math problem, or quizzing for an upcoming test. However, they do not provide one-on-one tutoring. This study hall provides students with an opportunity for them to work together or to complete their homework independently. Students may not be able to complete all of their work, but they will get a good start before going home. Chromebooks are available for computer-based homework until 6 p.m. ASP adheres to Park's technology policies and procedures.
