Our School

Welcome to Park!

I am delighted to welcome you on a journey of discovery and learning about The Park School. Finding the right school for your child and your family is a wonderful exploration of values, opportunities, and priorities, and there is no question—the process can be overwhelming. We are excited to partner with you as you come to know Park and we have the opportunity to know you.

Park is a vibrant, connected, and diverse community of faculty, staff, alumni, and parents working together to support our 535 students along the transformative journey from age 4 to 14. We’re a close-knit family school that deeply values equity and inclusion.

Above all, Park is committed to academic excellence and social-emotional growth. Through every step of the Park experience, your child will be challenged intellectually with academic experiences that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. Our small classes enable teachers to know and value each student. Our passionate educators encourage students to develop their “whole selves” in the classroom, on the playing field, in the studio, on the stage, and in all of the spaces in between.

In addition to being Park’s Head of School, I am also a Park parent. My wife, Katie, and I choose Park for our family because we have seen the love of learning Park inspires, we’ve observed the passion with which Park teachers teach, and we’ve witnessed the remarkable successes Park alumni experience in their lives beyond Goddard Ave.

I look forward to seeing you on campus, where you will witness learning in action, meet our amazing faculty, experience our welcoming community, and learn what it means to grow up together at Park.

Warmest regards,

Scott Young
