Park's dining service is directly related to the mission of the School. For members of our community to learn, grow, work and play, they must be provided with healthy, nutritious snacks and lunch. The School's goal is to provide balance, nutrition and variety for snacks and lunch, minimizing the use of foods that are high in sugar, saturated fat, salt and preservatives.The mission of Park's Food Service is to promote and influence healthy food choices for our children and faculty.
Our philosophy is guided by several key guidelines which remain constant throughout the year.
In order to minimize risk to those students who suffer from nut allergies, Park strives to be a nut-safe institution, and we expect all members of our community to support this policy. Whenever possible we offer individually packaged snacks, as opposed to shared containers, in order to reduce the transmission of germs. The majority of our soups are prepared from scratch daily and there is always one vegetarian option avaialble.
Our Food Service Provider
Park School partners with Flik Dining. Flik takes great pride in ensuring that nutritious, well-balanced menus and snacks are provided to our students, faculty and staff during the school year. The menu changes daily and all of our food offerings are prepared on-site by our in-house culinary team, allowing Flik to support and serve the unique needs of our community.
