This July, The Park School welcomed Ilduce Brandao as the new Assistant Lower Division Head. In this position, Dulce will work closely with Lower Division students, families, and faculty as she leads efforts in social-emotional learning and community engagement for students in PreK-Grade 4. Ivy Alphonse-Crean ’07 is returning to her Boston roots, ready to take on a new challenge as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Dedham Country Day School, just down the road from Park. As a Park student in the late 90s, the conversation around “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” was barely visible, yet the School is where she first discovered the embracing value of affinity groups. In our Summer Bulletin 2021, you'll meet Miranda Haymon ’09, who received the 2021 Young Alumni Achievement Award for their award-winning work in theater, which is "radically inclusive, multi-voiced, oriented towards sparking dialogue and in direct conversation with the current state of affairs." By all accounts, Park students are thrilled to be back at school.
